Supreme Court agreed to hear a petition on the rare side-effects and potential risks associated with Covishield COVID-19 vaccine. Demanding compensation for victims, the petition claims that there have been instances of people becoming disabled after vaccination. The vaccine has been developed jointly by UK's AstraZeneca and Oxford University and manufactured by Serum Institute of India.
