The Supreme Court has allowed SpiceJet to approach the Delhi HC to reconsider its order directing a ₹144.5 crore deposit in the arbitration case with Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran. The airline had challenged the order, arguing that immediate payment could push it towards shutdown. It cited the absence of a proposed ₹5,000 crore government support package for airlines.
