The Supreme Court has allowed wrestler Vinesh Phogat to participate in Asian Games 2026 selection trials. The court said, "These aren’t medical college admissions, these are national and international sports," adding that courts cannot interfere in such matters. The WFI had moved the Supreme Court against Delhi High Court order allowing her participation in trials.
