SC closes all cases against Italian marines accused of killing 2 Indian fishermen

Supreme Court has closed all proceedings in India against two Italian marines, Salvatore Girone and Massimiliano Latorre, accused of killing two fishermen off Kerala coast in 2012. This comes after Italy paid ₹10 crore compensation for the victims' families and the owner of the boat in which the fishermen were killed. The court said Italy will resume the criminal proceedings.
