SC Collegium removes Raj Acting Chief Justice amid lawyers' protest over misuse of powers

The Supreme Court Collegium removed Rajasthan High Court's Acting Chief Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma and recommended Chhattisgarh High Court Judge Sanjay K Agarwal as the Chief Justice. This comes amid lawyers' protest against Justice Sharma over his alleged misuse of powers. SC judge Justice Sandeep Mehta had written three letters to CJI Surya Kant seeking transfer of Justice Sharma.
