SC dismisses PIL seeking Hindi as official court language

The Supreme Court dismissed a PIL seeking directions to constitute a commission to recommend Hindi as the apex court's official language. CJI Surya Kant said language reforms were already being implemented gradually, including Hindi summaries of judgments, and such changes cannot be enforced through judicial orders but require phased administrative reforms.
