The Supreme Court on Friday said it may consider granting markets regulator SEBI a three-month extension to probe Hindenburg Research's allegations of stock price manipulation by the Adani Group and lapses in regulatory discourse. SEBI had earlier sought a six-month extension into the same. The court had directed SEBI on March 2 to investigate the Adani Group within two months.
