Supreme Court has stayed Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government's order to transfer students from unrecognised madrasas and non-Muslim students studying in government-aided madrasas to government schools. The court also stayed NCPCR's recommendation to shut down madrasas that are not compliant with Right to Education (RTE) Act. The order was passed while hearing plea of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind.
