SC issues contempt notice to Education Secretary

The Supreme Court issued a contempt notice to Union Education Secretary TK Anil Kumar for allegedly failing to act on a representation seeking regulation of institutions providing religious education to children below 14. The bench of Justices Dipankar Datta and Sheel Nagu waived his personal appearance and listed the matter after four weeks.
