The Supreme Court issued notices to Chhattisgarh government and two doctors over alleged newborn swapping case at a Raipur hospital. A couple alleged that in 2023, after giving birth to boy and girl, they were handed two girls instead. DNA tests later confirmed that only one child was biologically theirs. The apex court has sought replies within four weeks.
