The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued notice to the Centre, CBSE, and NCERT on fresh petitions challenging the implementations of three-language policy for Class 9 students from the 2026-27 academic year. The court granted respondents 10 days to file their replies and scheduled the next hearing for July 22. The court added that learning a language never goes to waste.
