The Supreme Court directed CBI to register seven preliminary inquiries into the alleged "unholy" nexus between real estate developers and banks in Delhi and NCR areas. A plea filed by homebuyers claimed they were forced to pay EMIs despite not receiving flats' possession. CBI will also conduct preliminary inquiries in relation to the projects launched by Supertech Limited in Delhi-NCR.
