Supreme Court has ordered a nationwide audit of ICU facilities and given states and Union Territories two months to conduct it. It asked them to work out modalities for implementing minimum ICU standards in institutions. SC also ordered a nationwide audit of nursing colleges and directed the Indian Nursing Council to submit a report on training facilities across 800 colleges.
