The Supreme Court has refrained from sentencing a man convicted under POCSO Act, who later married the victim when she reached adulthood and now lives with her and their child. Noting that the victim "didn't accept" the incident as a crime, the bench said, "The society judged her, the legal system failed her and her own family abandoned her."
