The Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to cancel the bail granted to Lalu Prasad Yadav in the fodder scam case. The court also directed the Jharkhand HC to expedite and decide on Yadav's pending criminal appeal within six months. A CBI court had earlier convicted and sentenced Yadav to three-and-a-half years' imprisonment under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
