SC rejects PIL seeking fraud-proof medical degree verification

The Supreme Court dismissed a PIL seeking a uniform, fraud-proof system to verify medical degrees and registrations across India. The bench also criticised the petitioner for filing frequent PILs. The plea had sought stronger safeguards under the National Medical Commission Act to prevent people with fake or unverified qualifications from practising medicine.
