The Supreme Court dismissed a petition challenging Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's election from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in 2019. The petitioner, Saritha S Nair, had moved the top court after her plea was dismissed by the Kerala High Court. Nair's nomination for Wayanad election was rejected on account of her conviction and sentencing in two criminal cases.
