Supreme Court has directed Centre and Indian Air Force (IAF) not to release from service a woman Short Service Commission officer who was part of Operation Sindoor and Operation Balakot. Wing Commander Nikita Pandey alleged discrimination after being denied permanent commission. SC praised IAF, saying, "They're a big asset for [India]. Because of them, we're able to sleep at night."
