The Supreme Court upheld the conviction under Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 of two men accused of indulging in the illegal trade of tiger skin and wild animal products, but modified the sentence imposed by the Bombay High Court. The CBI had received information that the accused were likely to deliver a huge quantity of illegal skin and products.
