The Supreme Court has upheld the setting aside of an arbitral award, saying that the Arbitral Tribunal discriminated between the parties, showcasing violation of the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (A&C Act). It was hearing an appeal filed by SEPCO Electric Power Construction Corporation against the judgment of the Orissa High Court.
