Supreme Court said if poor people aren't provided free treatment at Delhi's Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, it'll ask AIIMS to take it over. It said this while taking serious note of alleged violation of lease agreement wherein the hospital was to provide free treatment to 30% indoor and 40% outdoor patients. SC observed the hospital has instead turned into commercial venture.
