Swapan Nandi, former chairman of Arambagh Municipality in West Bengal, has been arrested in Kerala in connection with alleged irregularities in a multi-crore solar power project, police said. Nandi had altered his appearance, including shaving off his moustache, to evade detection. "We will seek his custody and confront him with the other accused already arrested in the case," police added.
