A school in Telangana sought ₹3.7 lakh from parents to get their child enrolled in LKG from nursery. "We expected the fee structure to remain relatively stable until he reached grade 1. However, the leap from Nursery to LKG placed him in a new fee bracket," the parent said. The school attributed the hike to a shift in IB curriculum.
