Following a Red Alert for extremely heavy rainfall, authorities declared a holiday for all educational institutions in Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod. The closure includes schools, colleges, anganwadis, madrasas, and tuition centres. However, scheduled public, university, and PSC exams will proceed as planned, while residential schools remain exempt in two districts.
