short by Kriti Kambiri / on Monday, 19 August, 2019
Government-run primary schools reopened in Jammu and Kashmir with a low student turnout on Monday two weeks after the Centre's move to abrogate Article 370 in the state. Schools in Baramulla district's Pattan, Palhalan, Singhpora, Baramulla and Sopore remained closed, officials said. Mobile internet services restrictions in five Jammu districts were suspended on Sunday a day after being lifted.
