Scientist explains why earthquake tremors were felt for longer in North India

Earthquake tremors were felt for nearly a minute by people in many North Indian states on Tuesday. Scientist and Head of Office at the National Center for Seismology, JL Gautam, said, "The reason why people...felt (it) for a relatively long time is [that]...(the) depth of the fault is over 150 km so first primary waves were felt...then secondary waves."
