Scientists building tiny robotic insect drones to aid pollination

Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) are building robotic insects that could help in pollination, aiding the production of fruits and vegetables on a large scale. The robots, weighing under a gram, have flapping wings that imitate the movements of bees and can hover for over 16 minutes. They can also take a complex path and climb quickly.
