South Korean chemists have developed self-healing contact lenses that can repair scratches after one hour of exposure to UV light. The lenses use a special hydrogel that restores up to 90% of surface damage, helping them last longer. They are also designed to resist bacteria while remaining as comfortable as regular soft contact lenses.
