Scientists at University of Bristol have developed a pocket-sized robot that can crawl up walls and across ceilings to clean them. 'ElectroSkin' was developed by taking inspiration from organisms like snails and slugs. The stretchable robot works by contracting embedded artificial muscles and gripping the surface using electrical charges. 'ElectroSkin' can be rolled up and stuffed in a pocket.
