Scientists develop therapy that may make people immune to all viruses

Scientists have recreated a rare gene mutation that may give people the "superpower" of being immune to all viruses, into an experimental therapy. The study, published in Science Translational Medicine, found the therapy temporarily gives these powers to hamsters and mice. "We've yet to find a virus that can break through...therapy's defences [in cell culture]," immunologist Dusan Bogunovic said.
