Scientists dig up Southeast Asia's largest dinosaur in Thailand

Researchers from UK and Thailand identified a new dinosaur species, Nagatitan chaiyaphumensis, from fossils discovered near a pond in northeastern Thailand a decade ago. The dinosaur, believed to be largest ever found in Southeast Asia, weighed around 25-28 tonnes and measured 27 metres in length. The long-necked plant-eater lived between 100-120 million years ago and belonged to sauropod group.
