Scientists discover 43-foot 'T rex of the sea' from 80 mn-year-old fossils

Scientists have identified a massive ancient sea predator from 80 million-year-old fossils found in Texas, describing it as the "T rex of the sea", The New York Post reported. The creature, called Tylosaurus rex, was a mosasaur, a giant marine reptile. Researchers said the reptile measured around 43 feet long, about twice the size of the largest great white sharks.
