A new planetary system with two distant planets orbiting around a small, cool star named LP 890-9 has been discovered. The planets, called LP 890-9b and LP 890-9c, take 2.7 and 8.5 days to complete one revolution around the star, respectively. The latter is also within the star's "habitable zone", making it neither too hot nor cold for alien life.
