Scientists find cure to Epstein-Barr virus that 95% people carry

Scientists have discovered monoclonal antibodies that can stop Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), an extremely common infection linked to cancer. The antibody blocks the virus from entering immune cells, preventing the infection that affects about 95% of people worldwide. Studies on mice showed one of the antibodies completely preventing infection in mice with human-like immune systems.
