Sea level rise may sink world's largest deltas before 2100: Study

The significant parts of the world's largest deltas may sink by the end of the century, a study stated due to the rising global sea level and local drivers such as groundwater pumping and extraction of hydrocarbons that create subsidence. The study also stated that sinking land, rather than sea level rise, is primary factor putting global deltas at risk.
