An unopened first-generation iPhone from 2007 was auctioned for $39,339.60 by US-based LCG Auctions. When it was first released, the phone was priced at $499 to $599 and has now fetched over 60 times that price at the auction. The unused 8GB iPhone came with a 3.5-inch screen, a 2-megapixel camera, and a web browser.
