SEBI will roll out a revised Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) framework from 1 September to improve trading in gold and silver ETFs. It introduces price bands of ±6%, a pre-open auction mechanism, and revised VWAP-based pricing to enhance transparency and price discovery. The move aims to reduce volatility and align Indian ETF markets with global standards.
