SEBI imposed a five-year ban and fines totalling ₹90 lakh on 12 entities in a front-running case. Chairman of Mangal Keshav Financial Paresh Bhagat had placed orders through dealers who were in possession of the non-public information. These dealers shared confidential information that helped place orders in the trading accounts of connected entities in advance of big client's impending orders.
