SEBI orders Avadhut Sathe Trading Academy to refund ₹546 crore, imposes ₹11.5 crore fine

SEBI has ordered Avadhut Sathe Trading Academy to refund ₹546 crore collected through unregistered investment advisory activities. It has also imposed a penalty of ₹11.5 crore and barred the academy and its founder, Avadhut Sathe, from the securities market for two years. The regulator found that they sold courses by falsely claiming their students were making profits.
