SEBI to make direct mutual funds default on AMC platforms from Nov

SEBI will make direct mutual fund plans the default option on asset management companies' (AMCs) digital platforms starting November 1, Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said. Investors choosing regular plans will have to be informed about their higher expense ratios. Regular plans generally have higher costs because they include distributor commissions, unlike direct plans.
