SEBI introduced a new incentive structure for those mutual fund distributors who bring in new individual investors from beyond top 30 cities and women investors from any city. Distributors will be eligible for a commission of 1% on the first application, provided investor remains invested for one year. Distributors cannot claim more than one incentive for same investor or investment.
