Delhi Police have invoked charges under Section 197 of BNS in the FIR against arrested India Gate protesters for raising slogans supporting Maoist leader Madvi Hidma, reports said. Section 197 of the BNS addresses imputations and assertions that are prejudicial to national integration. Hidma, killed in a recent encounter, was responsible for at least 26 lethal armed attacks.
