Sedition-accused JNU student Sharjeel Imam has been arrested in Bihar's Jehanabad by Delhi Police. He was booked over his "cut off Assam from the rest of India" remark and sedition cases were filed against him in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Manipur. He was previously one of the organisers of the protest at Delhi's Shaheen Bagh.
