Seeing children leave school due to property and lack of guidance, Malati Murmu turned her mud house into classroom for children in West Bengal. In 2019, after her marriage, Malati moved to Jilingsereng, a remote tribal village surrounded by forests and hills. Since February 2020, nearly 45 children attend classes given by her every morning.
