Segway is ending the production of its original self-balancing scooter, the Segway Personal Transporter (PT), Segway President Judy Cai said in a statement. Segway PT, which was launched in 2001, accounted for less than 1.5% of the company's revenue last year. The company was founded by America's Dean Kamen and bought by China's Ninebot in 2015.
