Segway will stop producing the self-balancing Segway PT at its Bedford, New Hampshire plant on July 15, Fast Company reported. The report added that 21 employees will be fired due to this and 12 will stay on temporarily to handle matters like warranties and repairs on already sold Segways. However, five employees working on Segway Discovery scooters will remain.
