Sending someone a meme is like penguin pebbling: Adam Grant

Psychologist and author Adam Grant said on the podcast that "pebbling" refers to penguin courtship ritual in which birds offer smooth stones to potential mates. Its modern equivalent is sending someone an article, meme or reel that reminds you of them. “Every pebble is little gesture of care,” he said, adding that it should be personalised rather than “random junk”.
