Benchmark index Sensex jumped 600 points, closing at 82,380.69, while Nifty neared the 25,300 mark, jumping 169.90 points on Tuesday. Kotak Mahindra Bank, Larsen & Toubro, and Mahindra and Mahindra emerged as top Sensex gainers. Asian Paints and Bajaj Finance were the top Sensex losers. Additionally, 288 stocks hit the upper circuit, and 130 were at the lower circuit.
