Sensex and Nifty closed near their record highs on Wednesday. Sensex closed 600 points higher at 84,466.51, just 1,500 points from its all-time high of 85,978.25, which it'd hit on September 27, 2024. Meanwhile, Nifty ended 180 points higher at 25,875.80, nearly 230 points from its 52-week high of 26,104.20. IT and auto stocks led the stock rally.
