Indian domestic indices closed more than 1% higher on Monday. Sensex surged 1,073.61 points, or 1.42%, to settle at 76,488.96, while Nifty jumped 312.40 points, or 1.32%, to close at 24,031.70. Bajaj Finance was the highest gainer in BSE Sensex, surging 2.8%, followed by LT, which rose 2.71%.
